Daniel RobertsArsenalWe live in a country based on the freedoms of innocent until proven guilty - Sunderland AFC have put in place a guilty until innocent policy - shame on you.
David SchipperS.S. Lazio
David GibbsEnglandHaving previously travelled home and away with Newcastle during my youth I've now moved onto following England home and away. During my trips home and away with England I've never met a better group of supporters than the Sunderland follows who travel. I've also been to games where I've witnessed slightly heavy than neccessary Police tactics. Strange how the LAW itself seem to be above the LAW. Are these not the same fans you assisted by taxing them home from Cardiff????? GIVE THOSE FANS INVOLVED THE OPPERTUNITY TO DEFEND THEMSELVES BEFORE CASTING THEM OUT!
David NewhamSunderlandCannot understand this at all.
Robert LeeThe Blades
Debbie NevilleReading
Graeme MesshamWigan AthleticSunderland AFC are breaking a contract by banning fans who have not been found guilty.
Greg Dowlingshefffield unitedFootball fans must be afforded the same rights in a democrarcy where natural justice must seem to be operating.
Alex MalesAston Villa FCI believe in fair justice & these fans deserve proper justice from their club.
Paul GenneryLeeds UnitedI hope this helps...

MARK HEATHSunderland AFCIT IS A DISGRACE WHAT NORTHUMBRIA POLICE DID TO OUR FANS SO I WOULD LIKE TO SIGN YOUR PETITION
Jack HowlettWest Ham Utd
Richard LathanSunderlandThe people who should be investigated are the police. Absolute disgraceful actions from start to finish, compounded by their repeated lies. The only good thing to come out of this for me, is to open my eyes to the depths the once great British police force has sunk too. I am so disapointed with them.

Stephen ByrneManchester UnitedIt's about time the Police treated us like human beings, we are not cattle.
mark cleggmachester united fcwhat on earth is this clown playin at, probably the most loyal fans that even go to the match and u've banned them when there guilty of nothin....DISGRACE!!!!!!

John RowellSunderlandNiall, you are rightly revered as a legend by Sunderland fans but this is not only blatantly wrong but so out of character for a man who once paid the taxi fare for fans from Cardiff after they'd been thrown off an Easyjet flight. Come on Quinny, do the right thing.

michael greenwolvesdon't tar all football fans with the same brush.we are not all hooligans.
stephen pitcherBurnleyDisgraceful, surely the principal of innocent until found guilty should apply.
John CravenBurnleyIn the eyes of the law they have done nothing illegal.
Ian GibsonSunderlandThe club should only impose it's own sanctions after guilt has been proved in a court of law. Police and stewards, like referees, make mistakes.
Richard TandyBurnley
David FarrarBurnleyInnocent until proved guilty is a basic principle of justice.

Greg AshmanSwindon TownHad my own bad experiences enough to know truth from spin, when it comes to the boys in blue and football fans.
Lee McGuireSunderland
Martin WanlessSunderlandInnocent until proven guilty Niall. Do the decent thing and revoke this decision until convictions are made. Disgraceful action by a club who says it's in tune with the fans. Actions speak louder than words, and by joining the police in this preposterous witch hunt and helping them cover the truth you are doing untold damage to your relationship with the supporters of SAFC.
Ian O'DonnellReading
NICK MCNEILBURNLEYno prosecutions, no evidence therfore no bans!!
Debra JonesArsenal

Philip MostonDoncaster Rovers
Paul HepburnCPFCDisgraceful knee %%@% over-reactionary abuse of power to protect what he thinks are the 'business interests' of the corporations that football teams have become... FANS ARE FOOTBALL...SUNDERLAND WOULD BE NOTHING WITHOUT THEM
Chippy ClockendArsenalYet again football fans being vilified and treated as scum through no fault of there own, Peoples game dont make me laugh those days are long gone, This is a travesty and good Luck to all involved, I met Niall on a few occasions when the players used to walk in through the back of the clockend,He was a top man and hopefully will see sense over this.
Martin BarnesBurnleyThis is completely unfair, and I call for the immediate reversal of the decision. Clubs need to treat fans like human beings, not 2nd class citizens.
JOANNE GREENDONCASTER ROVERSIts time football considered its fans. Its getting ridiculous stewards, policing & clubs can do what they want and the supporter has no rights and receive no respect anymore. What is happening!!!!
Richard HibbsWolverhampton Wanderers
Ron CobainSunderland
Ryan HicksLiverpoolAnother police carve up!?? Justice will prevail.
Richard WhiteChelseaOnce again it appears that you lose all human rights when you put a football scarf around your neck. Society would not tolerate this discrimination against any other minority group so why football fans?
Paul YoungBurnley FCRidiculous decision, hope the Club see sense and overturn it. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty?
Paul YoungBurnley FCInnocent until proven guilty! Absolutely ridiculous, hope the Club see the error of their ways, and overturn this decision!
Phillip BaileyBurnleyOnce again all supporters tarred with the same brush does it never occur to all clubs vast majority of supporters go just to enjoy football and not be persecuted.
Ginmette BentleySunderland
Michael Wellsburnley
david beverleyscunthorpe unitedISit not true that you are innocent until proven guilty in this country
Paul MartinSunderland
Ian HaqSunderlandNiall, there are parallels here with the incident involving Easyjet in 2007. Your support of those fans went down in folklore. Don't these fans deserve the same regard.
Tom TruemanSunderlandSunderland AFC are in danger of losing the goodwill built up over the past few seasons by this unfair and arbitrary action.

Russ PooleArsenalFully supported and have a word with the police nationally over some of their behaviour in situations like this up and down the country.
Wayne HopkinsArsenal
Jack HobbsOxford United
Tony ShippenSunderlandSo much for innocent until proven guilty. The club should reimburse them for the missing games. It's not like they will miss the money.
Robert TeasdaleSunderland

john robisonsunderlandinnocent until found guilty is the foundation of our law
andrew grendalesunderland afc
Liam BurnhamSunderlandInnocent until proven otherwise Niall, it's served the country well for nigh-on 800 years up until now and it should apply here. The behaviour of Northumbria Police in this affair has been nothing short of a disgrace and an affront to natural justice. Stay on the side of fairness.

Cllr Brian Lomax OBENorthampton Town
Colin BarsonOxford UnitedSadly, this is very typical of the way football supporters are treated, week in, week out, by the police. They are allowed to get away with treating us as second class citizens and it is time the public at large realised what is going on.
Anthony O'HaraDonny RoversHaving been in the wrong place at the wrong time on a few occasions although many, many years ago in a different era. Things could have turned out so differently for me. IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU!! INCLUDING YOU MR QUINN.

Malcolm BushSheffield WednesdayI always thought that you were innocent until proven guilty! Mr Quinn, you obviously think that you know all that happened on that day and are acting as judge, jury and prosecution. Wake up man, you are not, never have and never will be, so stop acting is if you are and let these fans back into the ground. You have done a lot for Sunderland F.C., so stop spoiling it.
